How We Do It

Operational excellence

Installation rates achieved by our crews are translated into savings for our customers. Our highly skilled project teams provide timely and accurate reporting, allowing our clients to focus on their core business, not managing contractors.

Strong relationships and partnerships

Through our existing customer, commercial, and industry relationships, we have the professional network to assemble joint build programs to provide substantial savings to the participants when compared to solo builds. We proactively manage our relationships with preferred suppliers and subcontractors to provide operational flexibility, and to capture the full value of our supply chain. Find out more here.

Connect 8 has a track record of developing techniques, standards and equipment that enables us to provide civil works and install pipelines and cable at unprecedented installation rates. For example, Connect 8 pioneered a loose tube fibre cable blowing methodology that produced installation rates of 15 to 20km per day when the industry standard was less than half that rate.
