Scope: Installation of 600km of 60 count fibre cable, 60km of 96 count fibre cable, 900km of 32 mm duct and 24 km of 63mm duct, including 125 river crossings, building 7 point of presence bunkers, and Installation of 150 fibre optic joint pits

Notable achievements: Installing 8.8 km of fibre cable through Rimutaka tunnel -NZ’s second longest rail tunnel between Upper Hutt and Featherston.

Whakatane to Gisborne

Scope: Installation of 220km of 48 count fibre passing through 7 way multi duct using RBI Infrastructure, including 21 river crossings, 32 fibre optic joint pits, and three rural school connections.

Notable achievements: Achieving a safe installation of the works through rugged terrain, including 144 separate known and reported slip areas where geotechnical stability measures had to be incorporated into the works.
